Tamara Hernandez
Tamara joined Ellen’s Dance program at Esalen in 1997, and has been dancing ever since. Tamara began her training as a Vibrance Class Facilitator, in Bali, during 2013. A mother of two teenaged girls, Tamara shares her gifts with them and their friends, with her three Shepherds Grim, Zara, and Griffin and, cat, Moonpie. A lover of Nature, the land and the sea, Tamara built the Eagle’s Nest as a home for her family and a studio for sharing the healing and somatic arts with her community. While at Esalen, Tamara studied Spiritual Healing and has more recently studied and certified in Equine Massage. Whether touching horses, humans, felines or canines, Tamara has a gift as a ‘Whisperer’. Whisperers have developed the ability to deeply listen through the unspoken language of touch. After falling from her horse, and breaking her arm, Tamara picked up a paint brush; brush to canvas…and has emerged 12 years later, as an accomplished, self-taught artist. Her work captures the soul of her subjects. |
