Esalen® Massage is a unique form of bodywork developed over the past forty-five years. Known for its long, integrating strokes that create an experience of deep relaxation, the Esalen® approach supports the natural ability of body and mind to self-heal.

This training provides 175 hours of comprehensive instruction in fundamental massage skills, enabling participants (with or without bodywork/massage experience) to give a professional full-body massage. Massage study is complemented by daily meditation, yoga, dance, and other movement disciplines, giving participants the experience of aliveness and flowing presence central to Esalen® Massage. This process of self-exploration is key to grounding the teaching in embodied experience. In so doing, what might simply be a technique is transformed into a healing art. The workshop will provide ample time for discussion and attention to individual challenges. This is a professional training program with limited admission.

Location: Hotel “Sunce” (Sun) is a calm and intimate place located at the Adriatic Sea in Makarska Riviera, near Split. With the mountains sweeping up behind, and olive groves all around, it's the ideal place to immerse yourself in one of our retreats, whether to deepen your practice or try something new.

Walking inland from the Resort, you are quickly alone in a heady swirl of wild rosemary, lavender and blackberry bushes, the winding path stumbling suddenly on overgrown castle ruins, or pensive shepherds. You can guarantee swimming and diving in beautiful crystal clear warm waters at the hundreds of secluded beaches that are to be found along the whole coast, wherever you go.
